Winter route. A little bit of routing finding is needed, especially lower in the forest. There're many skiers, so you can follow them.
Park at the road closure, and walk to Happy Creek Nature Trail trailhead.
Current condition: soft snow. Snowshoe is needed. Nothing dangerous. Definitely no need for crampons. Spikes may be useful in the woods where snow is crunchy.
Whether it is winter or summer route, the slope is steep. Winter route might be easier, certainly shorter.
