This scramble is one that is under-rated and flies under the radar. From the road this hike is steep, relentless, straight up, with little rest. It travels on a dirt path that was very dusty lower down, making the uphill doable but the downhill treacherous. Despite all that this may be one of my new favorites as it offers larches, caves, spectacular orange colored rocks, big horned sheep, meadows, interesting scrambling, and rocks the kind of which I've never seen. I couldn't stop saying wow at every turn. Absolutely loved this scramble.
