We did this one as a side trip from our way down from the Black Tusk. We still had two hours left before we had to head back to the car and decided to give it a try.
This is really a nice trail, I would say as pretty as the Black Tusk hike. Surprisingly, this trail is way less used and we met maybe three other parties.
We made it maybe 80% up to the viewpoint before we decided to turn around because we were running out of time. However, we got some great views of the surrounding lakes and Helm glacier. On the way back we even could take the picture from the cover of 103 hikes!
