This was my big day of walking in the awesome Canadian Rockies in wild natural beauty that defies description by writing and even by photography. I was alone on this adventure, walked when I wanted, rested when I wanted. I just had to be back to my tent before dark. I had already been up to Boulder Pass and Ptarmigan Lake to preview it the night before. This time with a light pack of essential trail supplies of food, water, and emergency items I continued on with my head and heart absorbed in all that I saw.
I had taken more photos than seen here in this Live Trails album but it appears there must be a limit of 125 photos. After leaving Skoki Lodge I had hiked up to Packer's Pass passing by the Skoki Lakes called Myosotis Lake and Zigadenus Lake. The pictures I took on this segment of my day hike did not get loaded into Live Trails.Reads:517
