DIRECTIONS: Located beside Hayward Lake off the Reservoir trail.
Park at the first lot. It is one km or so after crossing the dam. Once on the trail, follow it left for approximately one km until you come to the falls trailhead on your right. A sign is posted.create

Finally returned to this hidden gem. The barricade is still up but...it didn't stop me this time. I was naughty and ventured past. :) I figured the obstacle can't be any worse than I ensured on Alder Flats. :) I was right. A tree had fallen across the bridge. You just have to venture under. No problems! Looks like a little bit of construction is going to take place for the second platform however I was still able to view from it.
It was a beautiful day to take a cruise through this forest. You can sure feel the water spray off the falls. They are rushing pretty fiercely at the moment. The sound is amazing! After capturing my pics Zeus and I ventured along the Hayward trail a ways to get some needed exercise. I had so much fun taking these pics. I can't wait to learn how to capture that soft look. I plan on getting these lessons soon. Then I'll be on a waterfall hunt this spring :)
The best part...no one tried to steal Rubi's gas. The jeep was not up in flames when I returned. :) Ya!
