This hidden gem of a trail is rewarding the whole way. The first half hour is peaceful, lots of ferns and green. Then theres the grind for a couple hours with plenty of opportunity to break. From the bottom it appeared there was little snow on the peak, but once we moved above the snow line it was clear we were in for trekking it in the deep. We had no snowshoes, but the snow was a little harder. Our determination to make it to the peak kept us plowing through it. There was one part that I would say caused a little danger, a steep climb along a edgy cliff. But we took it slowly with max caution, all was good. It was so beautiful above the snow line. The sun was shining, the snow on the trees was melting and dripping like golden drops of sun. Once we arrived at the peak we were astonished with the view. Actually, we had no idea what we would see and it surpassed our expectations by far. 360 view of everything. The trip took us exactly 7 hours with an hour on top.
