Overnight 10/24-25. Camped at Spider Meadow. Very cold. Snow 2" - 1'. We were hoping to get to Spider Gap, but because we were breaking trails, it was slow going. Returned from the notch (~6200'). Still some golden larches there.
Snow on road for ~20 miles. We drove in 4WD. On Sunday, met 8 skiers. It's a good idea to ski in to and cross Spider Meadow. Not much elevation gain to the meadow.
