The Seven Sisters are an impressive group of seven Douglas Fir trees, some standing and some not.
We started this trail at the Edmeston Road trailhead. When you are heading to Entrance Bay at Cultus Lake, Edmeston Road veers left off the main road in about 500m or so before the campsite check-in station. There is room for parking right at the trailhead.
The trail itself was damp and muddy in spots which is to be expected with all the rain we have had. A few days of nice weather should fix that up. Stinging nettles encroached on the trail in certain areas too. But otherwise the trail was in good condition.
The hike itself is not too steep with some ups and downs and some small little creek crossings which didn't pose any problems to the dozens of kids doing them this morning. There are a few forks in the trail with different offshoots of varying lengths. Our goal was to go the Seven Sisters portion of the trail and then make our way back down to Entrance Bay for lunch.
The large group finished at all different times. I was near the back of the pack and it was about 2 hours. The stats aren't official, just a best guess between Andrew and I.
