This was tougher than i thought, maybe because my muscles were still aching from Mt Elsay 2 days before. I recommend a helmet at the top of this trail if you are a group as rocks were falling under my feet. Very loose and sandy not very much foot hold, thats why poles are useful here. The trail is relentless, no switch backs. Views are great, Mt Slesse and Mt Baker beyond it. I wrote down 10km because that is what my gps says. 103 hikes book says 6km round trip, no way even if my gps is off its still more than that for sure.
