Brunswick > Hanover > Fat Ass Sweep ... Two of us out for some peak bagging on the North Shore. Brunswick is always fun with its class 2.5? scrambling but Hanover was the one to provide some rewarding class 4 scrambling (a few ropes and slings already in place)... with a bit of bushwhacking and fun boulder hopping.
WATER: On the Brunswick trail... only low on the trail about 10 minutes after you leave the road. If you travel north on the HSCT from the Brunswick junction there is a large'ish pond about 10 minutes down the trail. Filter or tabs required. OR if cut east off of the HSCT heading towards Hanover on the north side of Brunswick you descend the valley a bit (loose about 50-80m? elevation) there is a beautiful, fast moving stream where you can top up.
