Spent the weekend with family up in Sun Peaks and wanted to get out snowshoeing with them. Chose one of the fairly mild trails and it was a beautiful day out there. Fairly short loop, but can connect with other trails to make the trip longer, a nice destination is up to McGillivray Lake, which we have done in previous years and has a warming cabin. Trails are really well groomed and easy to follow; in a previous trip we did manage to hit some fresh snow, which added to the effort and fun, but not this time. Great little trip for family day outing. :)
