Snow is right from the start. Nice and crusty in the morning, it is possible to just walk on it. It became a postholing hell on the return, later in the afternoon (I eventually used snowshoes). The creek at the end of the logging road is easily crossed on snow, but for how long? The snow condition on the glacier was good. It is steep and icy so crampons were necessary. A gigantic wind cornice follows the crest around the circus and has been regularly falling (but not on our day) and acces to the summit can only be made on the far left. Really warm up there, no wind. Pictures to come!
