Originally my hiking buddy that day and I were supposed to hike up Lynn Peak but we found that the strong winds that day were breaking off larger branches the higher we went. Rather than risking a branch falling on us, we turned back around and did the loop of trails. The upper trail had a fair amount of ice, which took me a solid amount of time to get across since no point in time was there enough ice to warrant pulling out microspikes. Not surprisingly, the most amount of snow was on the lower trail, but we managed to avoid most of the ice.
This hike was more for the company I had that day, than the views, so I was happy regardless of how much I was sliding around
